SS VICENZA

SS Vicenza was first called SS Tunis, built by Neptun Werft in Rostock in 1909 and owned by Sloman, Rob. M. & Co. The steamship of 1833 tons was bought by the Italian government in 1915 and her name was changed to Vicenza when her ownership was transferred to Italian Railways in 1916.

She was sunk on 7 September 1918 south of Salonica by German U-Boat UB-42, under the command of Hans Georg Lübb.
