Agios Georgios SV

Agios Georgios, built by A Briasco, Sestri Ponente in 1877 and owned at the time of her loss by Stefanos Lemos, Agnoussa, Chios, was a Greek wooden barque of 897 tons. On September 6th, 1917, Agios Georgios, on a voyage from Monastir (Tunisia) to Piraeus (Greece) with a cargo of salt, was sunk by the German submarine UC-74 (Wilhelm Marschall) in the Ionian Sea.
