Gaulois

GAULOIS was a French Pre Dreadnought Battleship of the Charlemagne Class which sunk on 27th December 1916, Eastern Mediterranean, South off coast of Greece, 30 miles East of Cerigo island (36°30N, 23°45E) – torpedoed by the German submarine UB-47. GAULOIS was on passage from the French base at Corfu (Greece) to Salonika in the northwest Aegean.
