Apollo SS

The British cargo SS Apollo was sunk on 9th October 1915 by the German submarine U-39 (Walter Forstmann), 63 miles south from Gavdo Island, Crete. Apollo was on a voyage from Cardiff (UK) to Port Said (Egypt) with a cargo of coal. There were no casualties.
