SS Burrsfield

On October 5th, 1915, the British steamer SS Burrsfield, on a voyage from Barry (UK) & Malta to Dardanelles (Turkey), with a cargo of general stores and towing barge X-130, was sunk by the German submarine U-33 (Konrad Gansser), 70 miles west of Cape Matapan (Greece). 4 persons were killed.
