SV Aghios Georgios

Aghios Georgios, built by S. Feturius, Syra in 1903 and owned at the time of her loss by D. Platis, Santorin, was a Greek wooden schooner of 161 tons. On August 19th, 1917, Aghios Georgios, on a voyage from Malta to Piraeus (Greece) with salt, was sunk by the German submarine UC-74 (Wilhelm Marschall), Ionian Sea.
