SS Redbreast

Redbreast, built by A. & J. Inglis, Ltd., Glasgow in 1908 and operated at the time of her loss by Royal Navy, was a British fleet messenger of 1313 tons. On July 15th, 1917, Redbreast was sunk by the German submarine UC-38 (Alfred Klatt), between Skyros and the Doro (Kafireus) Channel (Greece). 44 persons were lost.
