SS Treneglos

SS Treneglos, built by J. Readhead & Sons, South Shields in 1906 and owned at the time of her loss by Hain Steamship Co. Ltd. (E. Hain & Son), St. Ives, was a British steamer of 3.886 tons. On November 14th, 1915, Treneglos, on a voyage from Port Louis, Mauritius (East Africa) to the UK with a cargo of sugar, was sunk by the German submarine U-34 (Claus Rücker), 70 miles off Gavdo Island, Greece. 3 people were lost.
